Booking & Cancellation Policy

INSIEME RESERVATION POLICY

As a small business, the viability of our restaurant is reliant on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice given regarding changes or cancellations to bookings made. In this context, the following conditions apply when reserving a table for the intent to dine:

  • Credit card details are required and a deposit of $10 per guest at time of confirmation is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be accordingly deducted upon settlement of account.
  • Reservations cannot be held without these details.
  • We do require a minimum of 24 hours notice of any cancellations, reduction in numbers or transfer of booking dates. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for more details.
  • We are committed to accommodating any reasonable changes in reservation but please be aware that increases or decreases to the number of people on your reservation will be subject to availability.
  • Insieme has the right to cancel unconfirmed reservations at its discretion.
  • Menu prices and cancellation fees are subject to change.
  • Deposits can be made in person, via credit card or over the phone. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos and Amex.

 

INSIEME RESERVATION POLICY FOR GROUPS OF 10 OR MORE

  • Credit card details are required and a deposit of $50 per guest at time of confirmation is required to secure your booking.
  • Reservations cannot be held without these details.
  • Should you need to cancel your reservation or reduce numbers we require 24 hours notice. Please refer to our Cancellation and reduced numbers Policy.
  • A discretionary 10% service fee is applied to the final bill for groups of 10 or more guests.

 

INSIEME PREPAID RESERVATION POLICY

To reserve a table for a prepaid event at Insieme, we do require full payment at the time of booking. No tentative bookings will be held without this payment. In the event of a cancellation for a prepaid event, we require a minimum of ten (10) days notice to issue a full refund of the ticketed price. If your reservation is cancelled with nine (9) days or less notice, we must be able to resell the table in full to issue a full refund.

 

INSIEME RESERVATION POLICY FOR EXCLUSIVE FUNCTIONS

Insieme Function Terms and Conditions

  • Confirmation – The confirmation of your function should be accompanied with a signed copy of Insieme Terms and Conditions.
  • Deposit – A minimum deposit of $50 per guest at the time of confirmation is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be accordingly deducted upon settlement of account.
  • Cancellation/ Postponement – Upon cancellation of a function, deposits will only be refunded if and when Insieme has secured another booking for that same date. If the booking is postponed and re-booked within  3 months of the original booking, the booking deposit will be held and deducted upon settlement of account.
  • Settlement & Payment of final accounts – Full payment of the account is required on the date of the function. We do not arrange separate accounts or accept personal cheques.
  • Final function package, menu and beverage selections must be confirmed 10 working days prior to the confirmed function date. Prices are applicable at time of the quotation.
  • Damages – Patrons and their guests are responsible for any damage Insieme property, injury or loss suffered as a result of their own actions during the function.

 

INSIEME CANCELLATION POLICY

Our cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by Insieme for staffing, food and its preparation, and loss of revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.

Insieme will actively manage restaurant bookings by checking attendance with the main guests/contact we have in our booking system.

  • Insieme reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for cancelled bookings or changes to booking numbers without prior notice.
  • All cancellations or changes to booking numbers require 24 hour notice.
  • Insieme reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $70 per person for any bookings changed or cancelled within this 24 hour notice period.
  • In the case of special events bookings (including but not limited to functions, group bookings, Wine Dinners, Valentines Day, or other Insieme special events) the cancellation fee will be 100% of the cost per person price.
  • We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied.
  • Deposits will only be refunded if and when Insieme has secured another booking for that same date

 

NO SHOW POLICY

  • Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice, will also incur a $70 per person fee.
  • We will notify you of any ‘no show’ fee applied.
